OBESITY AND METABOLIC SYNDROME MANAGEMENT

Diabetes type 2, metabolic syndrome and obesity is ripping the medical budgets apart all over the world.

The incidence of Obesity in America is 69%. In South Africa it is over 70%.

Most of obese people have Metabolic Syndrome and 70% of people with Metabolic Syndrome get Diabetes Type 2.

eNCA pointed out on 22 March 2019 that a global health ranking has identified South Africa as the most unhealthy country in the world. It pointed out that people between 30 and 70 years of age has a 26% probability of dying from cardiovascular disease, cancer or diabetes.

Metabolic syndrome increases at an alarming 12% per year.

The medical establishment see type 2 diabetes as a progressive disease that will eventually end in a patient requiring insulin injections and do not see drastic lifestyle changes as a solution to reverse Type 2 Diabetes.

Currently the world do not recognise Low Carbohydrate High Fat diets as the only solution for Type 2 Diabetes and Metabolic syndrome. The majority  of the health care industry believe that the current treatment of Diabetes type2, Metabolic syndrome and obesity is fine and is blind for the benefits of LCHF diets and the dramatic changes that are being achieved all over the world with this simple nutritional commodity.

We believe that it is possible for people who are well informed, with the necessary support and encouragement, to reverse Diabetes type 2, Metabolic syndrome and prevent the dreadful and dangerous complications of these terrible diseases.

We also believe that due to vested interests in the food and pharmaceutical industry, that it will take another 20 years before the medical establishment will resort to the proposals of advocates of a LCHF diet in the reversal of type 2 Diabetes and metabolic syndrome.
